The Word Cancun Comes from two maya words: kaan and Kun which means cradle of snakes, or snakepit and is located on the northeast Caribbean coast of the Yucatan Peninsula in the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico, where the Riviera Maya starts and crosses different coastal cities as: Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Akumal, Xpu Ha and Tulum.

How to get to Cancun
The fastest way to come is by plane, you have to arrive to the Cancun International Airport (CUN), which is outside of the city, 15 minutes away from the hotel zone.
